Take yourself off for a unique shopping experience to the Bruges' Christmas market. Ice Skating Rink

Ice Sculpture Festival

Every year, Bruges proudly presents the Snow and Ice Sculpture Festival hosted at the railway station. It is a must-see and very unique winter experience in Europe. Three hundred thousand kilos of ice and 400 tons of snow are shipped in and professional ice sculptors work hard to carve the most beautiful glacial creations. Procesión del Santisimo Sangre

Una tradición antigua cuenta que fue Teodorico de Alsacia, conde de Flandes, el que trajo de Tierra Santa (1150) la reliquia de la Santísima Sangre después de una cruzada.

Once a year, the holy relic is paraded around the town with great ceremony in a very impressive procession re-enacting religious and historical moments. The return of the Count of Flanders is performed to commemorate the importance of the Holy Blood in Bruges' heritage. The procession is on the Unesco World Heritage list.

Already since 1964, the Flanders Festival Bruges, also called "MA festival", wants to be a guiding, critical and contemporary festival, specialized in early music. Benenwerk - Bruges Ballroom

Every year the festival Klinkers is being closed off in style by "Benenwerk - Ballroom Brugeoise." It transforms Bruges into one giant ballroom with 10 stages for Foxtrot, Tango, Zumba, Bollywood, Hip Hop, . This free dance festival is the biggest dance event in Flanders.

Lace days

Belgium and especially Bruges is better known as "the cradle" of lace-making. This four-day exhibition and sales event, held at the De Halve Maan Brewery, provides visitors with a unique opportunity to sample two of Belgium's best exports on the same day - lace and beer!
